Job description

Job Title: Integration Analyst - Workday Integrations
Hourly/Salary Compensation Range: 83/hr for meeting all required and preferred skill sets
Location: Hybrid; Northern California
Hours: Standard business hours; minimum 2 days per week onsite
Start Date: 9/14/26
Client: West Coast / Northern California
Client Overview:
Client is seeking a senior-level Workday integration professional to support integrations across HR, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, Time Tracking, and related enterprise platforms. Sutter will provide all necessary equipment.
Job Description:
The Integration Analyst will design, build, maintain, and enhance Workday integrations that support enterprise HR, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, and Time Tracking processes. The analyst will use Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Web Services, APIs, XML, and XSLT to facilitate reliable inbound and outbound data exchange.
Responsibilities include collaborating with business and technical stakeholders, documenting current-state and future-state technical specifications, creating and optimizing custom reports, troubleshooting integration issues, and supporting testing, change management, training, and end-user issue resolution. The analyst must independently explain technical decisions, identify and escalate risks, recommend alternative approaches, and manage multiple integration and project efforts concurrently.
Skill-Set Requirements:
  • Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday Web Services
  • XML and XSLT
  • REST and SOAP APIs
  • Web services, CSV, and JSON
  • Workday HCM, HR, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, and Time Tracking
  • Workday custom reporting
  • Integration design, development, troubleshooting, and optimization
  • Technical documentation and stakeholder communication
  • Testing, change management, and production support
  • Risk identification and solution recommendation
  • Concurrent project and integration management

Education/Certifications/Licenses:
No specific education, certification, or license requirements were provided. Workday certifications may strengthen a candidate's profile but should not be treated as mandatory unless confirmed by the client.
Best-Fit Candidate Profile
The strongest candidate will have 7-10+ years of enterprise integration experience, including substantial hands-on Workday integration development. They should have delivered integrations across several Workday modules rather than specializing in only one functional area. The ideal candidate can independently design solutions, write technical specifications, build and troubleshoot integrations, communicate with stakeholders, and manage concurrent priorities.
Healthcare experience, especially involving Epic, EHR integrations, middleware, or interface engines, would be a significant advantage.
