Job description

Peoplevisor is seeking a certified Workday Data Consultant experienced in Human Capital Management, Payroll, and Data Conversion. You will be responsible for guiding clients through the transformation, implementation and operation phases of a Workday implementation. We would love for you to be part of our team.
KEY EXPECTATIONS
  • Responsible for providing Workday technical consulting services as subject matter expert and leading clients through the entire systems development lifecycle from requirements through release to production.
  • Design and generate data tracking and monitoring tools, and develop reports with accurate, easy to read, useful information.
  • Utilize your technical aptitude to convert and map data sources into data conversion templates via iLoads.
  • Guide clients through the data extract and cleansing process, including iLoading customer data, moving configuration from tenant to tenant, and configuring business processes and security.
  • Regularly engage and support the client through all phases of the project, ensuring a smooth transfer from legacy systems to the Workday HCM solution.
  • Advise client on options, risks, and any impacts related to data conversion.
  • Answer all inquiries on a timely basis.
  • Complete tasks efficiently and in a timely manner.
  • Report progress to clients and project managers.
  • Continually seek ways to improve the process of delivering Workday solutions.
  • Provide quality formal and informal documentation consistent with documentation standards.
  • Actively participate in update training and internal opportunities to share knowledge with others within the organization.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Quick learner, motivated to understand various technologies used in Workday ecosystem
  • High proficiency with MS Excel, ASAP Utilities, MS Office Suite
  • Workday experience with data migration in HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, Benefits, Financials, and/or Integrations
  • Experience with the full life cycle of both implementations and upgrades
  • 2+ years' experience in Workday Data Conversion/Migration with a combination of HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, Benefits, Financials and/or Integrations Solutions
  • Experience with legacy ERP data extraction (Oracle, Peoplesoft, SAP)
  • Experience with Data Warehousing, Data Architecture and Data Audits
  • Experience with Workday data loading using iLoads, XML, Web Services, MS Excel, and EIBs is highly desired
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
