Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Workday Extend Developer to contribute to the custom development of a new application within Workday's Extend platform. This role involves rewriting functionality from an existing ServiceNow-based product and creating a fully integrated custom Workday app.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement custom applications using Workday Extend
  • Collaborate with two different product teams to rewrite existing functionality
  • Ensure seamless API integration for data exchange
  • Work closely with HR software development teams to enhance Workday functionality
  • Maintain best practices in software development methodologies
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in HR Technology (Peoplesoft, Oracle, SAP, or Workday)
  • 4-6 years of experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • 2+ years of experience in Workday Studio and Integration Systems
  • 1+ year of experience in Workday Extend and Workday Orchestrate
  • Strong background in custom software development, writing code within Workday (not configurations)
  • Experience with data integration and API integration to demonstrate knowledge of system connections
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in Workday HCM (4-6 years)
  • Familiarity with Workday Prism
  • Prior experience working with HCM products such as Peoplesoft, Workday, or Oracle
  • .NET development background
