Work You'll Do

As a US Delivery Senior Consultant on the team, you will:

  • Transition / Ramp-up
    • Learn Financials integration inventory, schedules, dependencies, monitoring approach, and rerun procedures; review interface catalog and runbooks.
    • Understand upstream/downstream impacts to Accounting, Spend, Banking, and Grants operations.
  • Day-One Surge Support (Hypercare/Stabilization)
    • Monitor and triage integration failures; perform initial diagnostics using logs/error outputs; coordinate data fixes and controlled reruns.
    • Support hypercare cadence: daily triage, defect trending, stakeholder updates, and post-fix validation.
  • Steady-State Operate (O&M)
    • Provide operational support for Financials integrations: monitoring, incident/problem management, rerun governance, and documentation.
    • Improve runbooks/knowledge articles and reduce repeat failures through root-cause analysis and hardening recommendations.
  • Innovate & Optimize (including new integration development)
    • Identify opportunities to improve integration reliability and efficiency (better alerting/monitoring, error handling, reduced manual steps, improved data validation).
    • Contribute to more complex enhancements and mini-projects, including designing, building, and testing new integrations over time in alignment with standards and change control.
    • Where applicable, support modernization efforts leveraging new platform capabilities; Extend exposure/certification is additive for solution evolution.

  • 5+ years of experience supporting the design, development, testing, and deployment of Workday integrations
  • 4+ years of experience with one or more Workday integration technologies such as EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, BIRT, or Workday web services/APIs
  • 4+ years of experience with incident updates, documenting root causes, and coordinating with functional leads and vendors
  • 4+ years of experience working on triage, issue resolution, and incident management
  • Delivery Center Location & Travel Requirements:
    • Hybrid Work Model: Operate under a hybrid system requiring residence within a commutable distance to one of the US Delivery Center locations (Gilbert, Lake Mary, or Mechanicsburg) or Geo-Hub locations (Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Houston, and Philadelphia)
    • Co-location Expectation: Spend up to 30% of working time co-located at an assigned office for orchestrated opportunities, including projects, practice sessions, training, and Moments That Matter at a Deloitte Delivery Center location, Geo-Hub location, approved site, or project location
    • Travel Requirement: Maximum of 10% overnight travel for client or project purposes
