Job Overview

Directs work control operations for a large technical facility environment, coordinating the planning, prioritization, scheduling, and tracking of work orders for maintenance, repairs, and operations across specialized assets such as clean rooms, laboratories, utility systems, research areas, and mission‑support infrastructure. Ensures efficient execution of both scheduled and emergent tasks while maintaining accurate workflow documentation and supporting uninterrupted facility operations.

Pay Rate: $100,000 - $110,000 / year

Responsibilities

Essential Job Duties:

  • Manage work order intake, prioritization, scheduling, and documentation.
  • Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, operations, and subcontractors.
  • Track progress, update schedules, and ensure timely completion.
  • Maintain CMMS accuracy and compliance with reporting requirements.
Job Requirements

Mandatory:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in work control, maintenance planning, scheduling, or facilities operations.
  • Proficiency with CMMS systems (Maximo, TMA, SAP, or similar) and understanding of work order lifecycle management.
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance strategies and facility system workflows (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, utilities, etc.).
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in high‑demand, multi‑building technical environments.
  • Strong collaboration skills with maintenance crews, engineering teams, safety personnel, and leadership.
  • Experience interpreting technical work requests, equipment requirements, and resource allocations.
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail for documentation, reporting, and schedule control.
