Work Management Technician

Position Summary


Pike is seeking a Work Management Technician to support the planning, coordination, and execution of utility work activities. This role serves as a key link between field operations, project leadership, and customer stakeholders, ensuring work is accurately processed, tracked, and communicated. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.


Essential Responsibilities

  • Review, process, and manage incoming work requests within a work management system.
  • Create and distribute work packets to support field operations.
  • Gather and disseminate utility locate information for underground facilities.
  • Maintain accurate project records and update work status information.
  • Submit and track service requests as needed.
  • Communicate project updates and progress to supervisors and project teams.
  • Coordinate and maintain schedules for field crews.
  • Serve as a point of contact between field personnel, project leadership, and customer representatives.
  • Support operational efficiency by ensuring timely and accurate information flow.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience with work management systems, project coordination, scheduling, operations support, or related functions preferred.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
