Position Summary

Blondie’s Salon & Spa is seeking a licensed and experienced Massage Therapist to join our spa team. In this role, you will deliver customized, high-quality massage services designed to support guest wellness, relaxation, and recovery. The ideal candidate is passionate about the wellness industry, holds an active Indiana license or certification, and is committed to providing an exceptional guest experience. You will thrive in a supportive, inclusive environment focused on continued education, professional growth, and elevated service delivery.
Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience

  • Conduct thorough consultations using Blondie’s standardized consultation framework
  • Create personalized treatment plans based on client needs and preferences
  • Educate guests on products and services to support ongoing wellness
  • Document guest preferences, products used, and recommended follow-up treatments
  • Encourage return visits through personalized recommendations and follow-up communication
  • With guest permission, capture service photos for marketing and engagement
  • Participate in guest relationship-building initiatives such as thank-you notes, check-in calls, and seasonal gifts
  • Use internal systems and processes to ensure consistent, high-quality guest service
Goal Setting & Performance Tracking

  • Attend monthly one-on-one coaching sessions with spa leadership
  • Submit a coaching reflection form one week prior to each session
  • Track daily service performance and align with team-wide goals
Continued Education & Growth

  • Attend all paid education sessions provided by Blondie’s
  • Proactively seek additional educational opportunities to refine technique and expand services
  • Use downtime to review product and ingredient knowledge
  • Participate in team-based learning and collaborative professional development
Cleanliness & Sanitation

  • Maintain a clean, sanitized, and well-organized workstation at all times
  • Restock all supplies needed for services and transport laundry to designated areas daily
  • Ensure all common areas remain neat, professional, and guest-ready
Marketing & Business Development

  • Maintain a professional social media presence showcasing your services and specialty
  • Share relevant photos and content a minimum of twice per week
  • Participate in business-building efforts, marketing campaigns, and salon/spa events

  • Earnings Structure: 40% service commission or hourly rate, whichever is higher; 10% retail commission; plus tips
