About Camden Rockport Middle School
Camden Rockport Middle School, housed in a beautiful new building, serves just under 350 students in grades 5 - 8 from the towns of Camden and Rockport. CRMS has been implementing a Project Based Learning model of curriculum and instruction and values students' active engagement in the learning process.
Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic teacher of science with experience and fluency in teaching life sciences, including topics in biology, ecology, basic biochemistry, cells, genetics, brain science, anatomy, and physiology. The ideal candidate is collaborative, energetic, and deeply knowledgeable about the middle school learner and best practices in science instruction. Experience with, or a strong interest in, interdisciplinary teaching and project-based learning is highly desirable. This is a one-year position.
Key Responsibilities
  • Create and implement a comprehensive science curriculum that aligns with educational standards at a developmentally appropriate level.

  • Pay starts at $52,686 (step B - 0) annually with possibility of increase based on experience, within the parameters of the applicable contract
