Job description

The Supervisor, ERP/WMS Support, is responsible for managing the maintenance and development of the company's enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), and other related systems. The supervisor works collaboratively within the IT department and business units to develop and maintain various modules of enterprise systems to meet business requirements and improve processes. The supervisor is responsible for the supervision of multiple team members and acts as a technical lead within their scope.

Responsibilities
  • Manage Direct Reports (~4).  
  • Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of ERP/WMS team.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws.  
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Coordination of all IT related aspects regarding the implementation of new tools or modules of the ERP, WMS, and related solutions
  • Monitor interfaces / integrations of the warehouse management and ERP systems.
  • Resolve access and user performance issues.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve enterprise system issues: hardware and software.
  • Configuration and support of printers, scanners, and mobile devices used with the ERP and WMS.
  • Design and development of integrations and customizations.
  • Coordination of resources for testing and validation of patches and upgrades.
  • Support of key users regarding testing and configuration of related systems.
  • Development of test plans, test cases, test scripts and reports.
  • Subject matter expertise of the ERP and warehouse management systems.
  • Collaboration with other support teams such as BI, Application Development, and other IT teams.
  • Mentor and train team members in the administration of ERP, WMS, and related tools.
  • CI/CD related to ERP, WMS, and related systems.
  • Validate that user expectations are met.
  • Ensure creation and maintenance of work instructions and procedures including system and user manuals, documentation, change logs, and wikis.
  • Escalate and coordinate problems with regional and global IT management as required.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies through training, independent research, and involvement with standards-setting Liebherr groups.
  • Provide timely reporting on team progress and own assignments.
  • Knowledge and experience working within an Agile/SCRUM environment is a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Access, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required.
  • Experience working with a helpdesk ticketing system.
Competencies
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering and/or computer science and five years demonstrated work experience in an enterprise resource planning and/or warehouse management support role; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of two years' experience managing multiple direct reports.
