JH Cellular (Wireless Zone), an authorized Verizon retailer, is looking for a driven Business Account Manager to drive growth in the small-to-medium business segment. This hybrid role combines inside sales, outside sales, and retail support to deliver comprehensive Verizon wireless and business solutions to local businesses.
You will split your time between our Verizon retail stores, remote work, on-site client visits, door-to-door prospecting, networking events, and follow-up activities. This is an ideal opportunity for a self-motivated sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys both face-to-face and remote selling.
Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Business Sales Sell Verizon wireless products and services to small and medium-sized businesses, including:
    • Smartphones, tablets, and mobile devices
    • Business Internet
    • Office phone solutions
    • Business plans, fleet management, security solutions, and connected devices
  • Hybrid Sales Approach Conduct inside sales from our retail locations, outside sales via door-to-door visits, on-site client meetings, and remote/virtual selling.
  • Retail Location Support Spend dedicated time in assigned Wireless Zone Verizon stores to:
    • Identify and close business opportunities from walk-in traffic
    • Train and coach retail sales representatives on business solutions and selling techniques
    • Assist retail teams with business client follow-up and quoting
  • Prospecting & Lead Generation Actively prospect new business clients through:
    • Door-to-door canvassing in target commercial areas
    • Attending local networking events, chamber meetings, and trade shows
    • Cold calling, email outreach, and CRM lead management
  • Client Relationship Management Build and maintain long-term relationships with business customers, providing ongoing support, account management, and upselling opportunities.
  • Training & Development Conduct regular training sessions with retail reps on Verizon business products, pricing, and sales strategies to increase overall store business sales performance.
  • Meet & Exceed Targets Achieve monthly/quarterly sales quotas for activations, revenue, and new account acquisition.
  • Documentation & CRM Accurately track all sales activity, client interactions, and pipeline in the company CRM system.
What Were Looking For
Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of proven sales experience (wireless, telecom, B2B, or technology sales strongly preferred)
  • Comfortable with both inside and outside sales (retail floor + field work)
  • Self-motivated with strong hunter mentality and closing skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation (for outside sales and store travel)
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends as needed for events
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior Verizon or wireless carrier experience
  • Experience training or mentoring sales teams
  • Familiarity with business internet, VoIP, or enterprise solutions
  • CRM experience (Salesforce or similar)
