SUMMARY:
This position is primarily responsible for executing the merchandising needs of the company by merchandising products in clubs, grocery and other high volume off premise accounts.
MAIN TASKS/JOB DUTIES/GOALS:
  • Reports to Key Accounts/Merch Mgmt.
  • Stock beer to the shelves
  • Rotate beer stock, face shelves, spin labels, straightening packages in customer accounts
  • Maintain appropriate product levels in beverage sections and throughout accounts
  • Build and maintain displays in compliance with company and customer standards
  • Place/install promotional material in accounts
  • Transport, replace, and maintain Point of Sale advertising as appropriate for account
  • Assist in daily upkeep of POS in the warehouse
  • Complete daily paperwork related to merchandising work
  • Consistently/continuously provide excellent customer service through daily communication, problem resolution, and appropriate follow up
  • Assist delivery drivers in occasionally collecting payment
  • Maintain a valid Virginia driver's license at all times
  • Track mileage according to company reimbursement policy
  • Other tasks as directed by manager/supervisor

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITES:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read a limited number or two and three syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
  • MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Minimum skills: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
