Euronet facilitates the movement of payments around the world, serving as a critical link between financial institutions, retailers, service providers, and their end consumers. Following Euronet’s acquisition of CoreCard, this is a unique opportunity to shape the future of card issuing and payment innovation while working with a global payments leader.

CoreCard is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer located in our Atlanta office. This role will provide primary expertise in support of production operations and project work related to networking and infrastructure. In this role, you will work on the strategy, deployment, implementation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of critical production systems and corporate support systems. The position requires a strong network engineering background, pragmatic operational expertise, and experience with support of production 24x7 systems.

  • Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network, server, and infrastructure environments to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Administer Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365 services.
  • Configure, support, and troubleshoot VMware ESXi, virtual servers, storage, and VSAN environments.
  • Manage network infrastructure including Cisco and Dell switches, routers, VPN connectivity, subnetting, and firewall configurations.
  • Implement and maintain endpoint security, Microsoft Defender, vulnerability management, and patch remediation to ensure a secure computing environment.
  • Support PCI compliance initiatives, security audits, and implementation of corporate security policies and best practices.
  • Evaluate, procure, and manage hardware, software licensing, and vendor relationships to support business operations.
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, and server issues while providing timely resolution and root cause analysis.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours support for critical systems and emergency incidents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of experience administering enterprise Windows server, network, and virtualization environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Experience configuring and supporting VMware ESXi, virtual machines, storage, and virtualization technologies.
  • Proficiency with Cisco and/or Dell networking equipment, VPN technologies, TCP/IP networking, subnetting, and network troubleshooting.
  • Experience supporting endpoint security, Microsoft Defender, vulnerability management, and enterprise security best practices.
  • Working knowledge of PCI compliance requirements, network security principles, and infrastructure hardening.
  • Experience managing hardware procurement, software licensing, and third-party technology vendorsStrong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
