Job description

Position Summary:
Flender is seeking a highly motivated, customer-focused, and commercially driven professional to lead the growth of our Winergy Generator Service Portfolio across North America. This role blends business development, technical support, indirect sales, partner enablement, and the expansion of service offerings such as field services, shop repairs, training, and spare parts kits.
Reporting to the Wind Segment Manager, the individual will be fully embedded in the Flender Corporation Sales organization and act as a bridge between regional sales, service execution, product management, and third-party service providers, the successful candidate will drive market visibility, business development, and cross-functional collaboration aligned with Flender's long-term growth strategy.
Job Responsibilities:
Business Development Strategy & Execution
โ€ข Develop and implement sales strategies focused on Wind Generator Service solutions
โ€ข Build and manage a growing pipeline of service opportunities via CRM and report monthly on sales performance and forecasts.
โ€ข Analyze market trends and competitive activity to develop pricing strategies and service portfolio positioning.
Sales and Project Management:
โ€ข Meet or exceed regional generator service sales targets through indirect sales efforts and support of internal and external accounts.
โ€ข Support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic reporting to ensure commercial alignment with sales goals.
โ€ข Support pricing, budgeting, and operational planning for new service-related initiatives.
Technical support
โ€ข After internal training, be N. American subject matter expert for generator related topics
โ€ข Manage Spare parts list and associated transfer and customer pricing
โ€ข Act as liaison with global technical support to meet local needs for technical information
Partner Development & Channel Enablement
โ€ข Expand and manage relationships with Generator Certified Service Partners (CSPs), ensuring they are aligned with Flender's quality and commercial expectations.
โ€ข Assist in onboarding, training, and certifying third-party partners to expand service capabilities and coverage in North America.
โ€ข Identify and carry out strategic opportunities to improve partner network effectiveness and possible joint ventures.
Qualifications:
โ€ข 5+ years of progressive experience in industrial services, electrical equipment, or wind/generator-related industries.
โ€ข Prior experience in business development, service sales, or product management
โ€ข Strong knowledge of electrical machinery or wind generators
โ€ข Ability to manage complex partner relationships and navigate matrixed sales environments
โ€ข Experience with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and sales reporting
โ€ข Proficient PC skills including Microsoft Office tools, Outlook, SAP (a plus) & Team Center (a plus).
โ€ข Strong communication, presentation, and product management skills
โ€ข Ability to travel domestically (approx. 20-40%) to support customers, partners, and industry events.
