We are ramping up our expanding service and maintenance team with experienced Wind Turbine Technicians for site-based activities on turbines specifically with major corrective services.
**Team Leaders also needed
Experience on the following platforms and scopes would be preferred.

G-126 / Family 3
G80 - G114 (Gamesa)
SWT 2.3
SG 2.6
SG3.x
SG4.x
Scopes:
Gearbox Exchange (GBX)
Generator Exchange (GENX)
Main Shaft Exchange (MSX)
Main Bearing Exchange (MBX)- full rotor drop
Blade Exchange
Hub Exchange
Spinner panel replacement
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform Troubleshooting tasks.
  • Major Component Exchange
  • Large Corrective Maintenance
  • Check and supervise that quality measures and safety instructions are being respected.
  • Check and supervise the selection and usage of special tools and equipment.
  • Participate in training organized by GWS.
  • Plan your own work ahead.
  • Inspection and maintenance of safety gear, company vehicles, tools and other GWS properties.

GWO preferred but not required.
Siemens, Nordex, GE and Vestas experience a plus.
Must be available to travel around US.
You are cooperative, communicative, open-minded, and flexible - with respect for others and other cultures.
Capable of working at remote sites in adverse weather conditions.
Ability and willingness to travel and work as required.
Ability and confidence to work at height (includes physical fitness to climb)
Professional with a high emphasis on Quality and Safety
Valid drivers' license.
