Job Summary:
TheProductManageris responsible fordevelopingand improvingprofitable and quality products,servicesandprocessesfor our Winergy brand.Thisroledemands interdisciplinaryleadership and coordination as wellasindependentthinking. Experience inWinergy'sprocesses and products inthe Wind Powerindustryisawelcomedplus. The ideal candidate will beintimatelyknowledgeable of wind gearbox technology, gearbox repairprocessandhaveexperience with SAP.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to the commercial teamincluding:
- Supporting external and internal customer visits
- Providing customer training where needed
- Performing special inspections and field visits
- Attending tradeshows and other industry events
- Identification of components
- Supporting special customer requests
- Supportresources associatedwith the repairprocess including but not limited to engineering support for BOM creation,purchasingandlogisticssupport for external rework of parts
- Introducing new products and services to the Winergy portfolioincluding:
- Multi-brandproducts
- Repairs of newWinergyportfoliogearboxes
- Accessories
- Main Shaft
- Couplings
- Generators
- Performing cost/benefit and ROIcalculations
- Support of aftersales/field service team
- Global alignment for service products offerings
- Strategic sourcing for new components
- Strategic alignment with partnersandsuppliers
- Finding sources new components
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Engineering)or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in the Wind Power Industry
- Strong risk analysis and mitigation skills
- Proven ability to make independent decisions andsupportprojects to completion
- Strong analytical skills for data assessment and decision-making
- Excellent technicalcommunication skills
- Effective communicator for collaboration with diverse teams
