Job description

The Wholesale Account Executive is responsible for driving mortgage production by developing, managing, and growing relationships with new and existing mortgage broker partners. This role serves as a trusted advisor to brokers by providing product education, sales support, and guidance throughout the loan process. Success in this position requires an experienced wholesale mortgage professional with an established network of broker relationships and a proven track record of achieving production goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with new and existing mortgage broker partners.
  • Generate new business through prospecting, in-person meetings, phone outreach, networking, and sales presentations.
  • Meet or exceed a minimum monthly production goals.
  • Pre-qualify loan scenarios prior to submission to ensure program eligibility.
  • Educate brokers on Z loans products, underwriting guidelines, policies, and operational processes.
  • Deliver exceptional service and ongoing support to broker partners throughout the lending process.
  • Stay current on product offerings, underwriting guideline updates, and market trends.
QualificationsEducation & Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of wholesale account executive experience.
  • Established book of business with active mortgage broker relationships required.
  • Proven ability to work independently while consistently meeting production goals.
  • Strong understanding of wholesale lending products, underwriting guidelines, and loan origination processes.
  • Experience with Meridianlink preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, production-driven sales environment.
