Agility 360 is searching for an experienced Mortgage Loan Processing Manager for a direct hire position with our client in the Irving, TX area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of Loan Processors and Loan processor assistants. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of mortgage lending industry laws and regulations. They will have a proven track record in managing and motivating in an active fast-paced pipeline along with experience in nationwide lending within a centralized sales and operations consumer-direct/retail environment.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the incoming pipeline, as well as all files currently in the pipeline, to ensure progress is made on each file daily. Train and update processing staff on all operational policies and procedures and investor guidelines.
  • Assist processing staff and Sales Managers in resolving complex processing situations involving investor guidelines, processing systems, and internal procedures.
  • Monitor processing workflows to identify and implement enhancements or changes as needed.
  • Hold processing staff accountable for their individual pipelines and file flow timelines.
  • Monitor, review, and coach team members regarding individual performance.
  • Monitor pipeline and projections to ensure proper staffing levels to meet production needs.
  • Monitor and ensure regulatory compliance for all team members.
  • Timely and effective communication with the team regarding internal and external changes.
  • Ensure that all team members are effectively communicating with appropriate parties.
  • Interact effectively with operational areas and their management.
  • Follow up with teams regarding inactive loans and data integrity.
  • Assist in the evaluation of efficient workflow processes.
  • Monitor and ensure professional, courteous, and effective communications between staff and borrowers, along with other internal departments, and external third parties.
  • Manage daily, weekly, monthly reports on team performance and drive performance scorecard system that improves productivity and accuracy.
Background/Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of mortgage processing/underwriting experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience is a must
  • Extensive knowledge of mortgage loan processing and pipeline management.
  • Nationwide lending experience in a call center environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of TRID, FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, and VA guidelines.
  • Knowledge of FHA Connection, Encompass and the VA portal.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills are essential.
  • Ability to multitask in a high stress, deadline-driven environment, while keeping team members focused on pipeline management.
  • Extensive knowledge of local, state, and federal questions regarding consumer and mortgage lending.
