Job description

Position Summary...What you'll do...Role summary:
This Senior Manager, Technology Operations will be responsible operational launches, ops performance, and scale as Walmart Fulfillment Services leverages additional supply chain assets to generate fast shipping speeds. This person will lead the planning and execution of complex technology programs aligned with strategic business objectives. This role oversees financial management, risk mitigation, and resource allocation across multiple projects while fostering strong stakeholder relationships. The position requires translating business needs into actionable technology solutions, driving operational efficiency, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in program management and technology strategy, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across teams.

You will join a team dedicated to optimizing operations and driving business improvements that support both immediate execution and long-term strategy. The team collaborates across departments, engaging with leaders, associates, and stakeholders to enhance efficiency, communication, and alignment with organizational priorities. Contributions directly support business readiness, improve decision-making, and advance enterprise-wide performance. Emphasizing clear communication, strategic planning, and effective program management, the team delivers impactful results aligned with technology strategies and business objectives.
What you'll do:
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Business Operations to integrate with new assets and scale business units.
  • Model and analyze strategic decisions for WFS supply chain strategy and advise the business accordingly.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the speed, cost, and scale of the WFS business.
  • Lead program management efforts by defining goals, deliverables, and schedules for multiple complex projects aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Oversee financial management including budgeting, cost monitoring, and resource allocation to ensure program success.
  • Monitor program performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans to ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes.

  • Strong knowledge of technology strategies and ability to align business unit requirements with technology solutions.
