Job Description

Pay Rate: $16/hour - Use our Daily Pay benefit and get access to your pay as you need it. 

As a Houseperson, you are the driving force behind a clean, safe, and welcoming stay at Westgate Resorts. You will support the housekeeping team by keeping guest and public areas spotless, managing linens and supplies, and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. From assisting with room prep to delivering items and responding to guest needs, you help create the exceptional Westgate experience our guests love.

You will embody Westgate’s core values of Passion, Integrity, and Work Ethic in everything you do while shaping the culture and performance of the department. At Westgate Resorts, our team members are the heart of our success. When you join, you become part of a company that values hospitality, teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.

What you will do:

  • Assist housekeepers by stripping units of soiled linens and trash.
  • Support the cleaning of guest units, including pet‑friendly and deep cleans.
  • Clean walkways, stairways, corridors, elevators, guest laundry rooms, and front entrances.
  • Deliver linen bags and buckets to checkout unit doors and collect soiled linens for processing.
  • Rotate laundry bins and maintain cleanliness of laundry chute closets.
  • Remove and stage cribs, highchairs, and other equipment in designated pickup areas.
  • Collect and dispose of trash from guest units, public areas, and outdoor enclosures.
  • Keep housekeeping, storage, and linen closets neat, clean, and fully stocked.
  • Deliver and organize linens in building closets.
  • Ensure empty buckets and supplies are placed in designated areas.
  • Use equipment and cleaning supplies properly and safely.
  • Secure, track, and return all issued keys and maintain orderly carts and equipment.
  • Report damaged items, lost-and-found items, and safety concerns promptly.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest and owner requests.
  • Assist with training new team members and support other departments as needed.
  • Represent Westgate Resorts with professionalism and uphold company values.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Familiarity with housekeeping procedures and safety protocols.
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to lift 35lbs.
