Job Description
Pay Rate: $16/hour - Use our Daily Pay benefit and get access to your pay as you need it.
The Public Area Attendant plays an essential role in ensuring that all public spaces throughout the resort remain clean, safe, and inviting for guests and team members. This position maintains the cleanliness of restrooms, offices, common areas, meeting spaces, sales centers, and other assigned areas while upholding Westgate's high standards of presentation and guest care. With strong attention to detail and pride in your work, you help create the welcoming environment Westgate is known for.
You will embody Westgate's core values of Passion, Integrity, and Work Ethic in everything you do while shaping the culture and performance of the department. What you will do:
  • Repeatedly dust, disinfect, and sanitize all public restrooms.
  • Keep toilet paper and paper towels stocked in all public and pool area restrooms.
  • Monitor and restock supplies needed in the stock closet.
  • Sweep, mop, and maintain all floors.
  • Polish and maintain all glass and mirror surfaces.
  • Service ashtrays and remove trash in public areas.
  • Maintain all offices located in the lobby and sales and marketing areas.
  • Report any engineering problems immediately to the supervisor or designated departments.
  • Place trash in designated areas or receptacles for pickup.
  • Vacuum carpeted areas and rugs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Must be able to lift 35lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays if required.
  • Westgate Resorts is a Smoke and Tobacco-Free workplace. Except where prohibited by law, applicants who smoke or use tobacco products will not be considered for positions at Westgate.
  • Required to pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States.
