PARK SERVICES / MAINTENANCE

Hawaiian Falls Waterparks

Position Summary

Park Services / Maintenance are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of Hawaiian Falls Waterpark. This role supports daily park operations through sanitation, restroom care, supply management, and guest assistance, helping ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Essential Functions
  • Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, park grounds, and public areas.
  • Stock and organize restroom and cleaning supplies.
  • Operate cleaning equipment such as blowers, pressure washers, vacuums, hoses, and related tools.
  • Maintain handwashing stations and waste receptacles, including changing trash bags.
  • Sweep pathways and monitor park areas for debris, spills, and safety hazards.
  • Organize and maintain storage closets and supply areas.
  • Report maintenance concerns, supply shortages, and facility issues to leadership.
  • Interact with guests by answering questions and directing them to attractions or services.
  • Complete opening and closing procedures.
  • Assist with park emergencies, including inclement weather response.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned based on operational needs.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 15 years of age.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service.
  • Ability to multitask and follow instructions.
  • Willingness to comply with grooming guidelines, safety policies, and employment standards.
  • Ability to successfully complete all legal, company, and departmental training requirements.


Age-based duty notice: Certain maintenance tasks, equipment operation, or chemical use may be restricted to employees 18 years of age or older, in accordance with Texas Child Labor Laws and company policy.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to bend, reach, kneel, and perform repetitive movements.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, humidity, rain, and sun exposure.
  • Ability to safely use cleaning equipment, tools, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Ability to work around cleaning chemicals, wet surfaces, and sanitation equipment.
Pre-Employment & Training Requirements

Employment in this position is contingent upon successful completion of all required pre-employment and ongoing requirements, which may include background screening, safety training, equipment operation training, chemical safety training, and emergency response training.
