Job description


We are the leading provider of worldwide smart end-to-end supply chain & logistics, enabling the flow of trade across the globe. Our comprehensive range of products and services covers every link of the integrated supply chain - from maritime and inland terminals to marine services and industrial parks as well as technology-driven customer solutions.
This role is responsible for developing new Reefer business in the country - in alignment with local and regional management strategy. He/She will build customer relationships based on trust and solid operational set-ups.
This position requires strong communication skills and Freight Forwarding operational experience in the Reefer segment.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Ensuring constant growth in volume
  • Actively steer the solution design process to fit customer needs while taking into consideration DPW's capabilities
  • Undertake market analysis and competitive research in the local market
  • Liaise with Operations in order to ensure proper SOPs are customized around client needs
  • Assist clients in their day-by-day requests related to export/import quotations/negotiations in order to ensure proper opportunity closing
  • Liaise with DPW internal Network and external Partner Agents in order to guarantee the best possible service assistance to working opportunities.
  • Work with the CRM system to properly manage personal pipeline and record activity that will be base for Sales Incentive Scheme.
  • Stay updated about local regulations, industry, new practices and any enhancements

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
  • Graduate in any field preferred
  • Proven track record in sales, with at least 3 years of recent and relevant sales experience in Freight Forwarding
  • Solid understanding of Cold Chain
  • Freight Forwarding experience is mandatory
  • Solid and demonstrated working knowledge of the Freight Forwarding Industry
  • Ability to research, identify, tackle, grow and close business opportunities ensuring the needed support from product and operations
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet various deadlines
  • Intermediate computer skills with a proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate with clients, carriers, other forwarders, vendors

Salary Range: $130,000 - $155,000 base
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
