Job description

Come join the Omega Management Group Team for this exciting opportunity.We are looking to add a Maintenance Technician with our Residential team. The Maintenance Technician performsgeneral maintenance repairs and preventive maintenance throughout the entire portfolio. Responsible for maintaining in cleaned and repaired condition the property interiors, exteriors, and site using materials and equipment and following manufacturer's directions for same. Continually strives to increase his/her working knowledge of the property.

Knowledge, Abilities and Other Qualities

  • The employee shall perform his/her duties using standard levels of productivity and dependability, ensuring completion in a timely and zero-defect manner
  • Performs necessary repairs and preventive maintenance throughout the entire property
  • Assist and maintain landscape and irrigation systems
  • He/she must portray a clean, neat, well-groomed professional appearance
  • Job requires company-approved attire with identification badge in sight
  • Must be honest, trustworthy, enthusiastic, and team/project oriented
  • This position has no authority that is not specifically delegated from the Supervisors
  • He/she must be customer service oriented and genuinely support and promote good resident/tenant relations and service
  • The employee must have the ability to work independently, be able to direct others, a willingness to learn, and good communication skills and be willing to participate fully in staff meetings and designated training programs

Experience Training and Education

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Minimum one year of maintenance experience in a related field or formal training from a trade school is required.
  • Reliable transportation, and a valid driver's license, and current liability insurance coverage
