Come join the Omega Management Group Team for this exciting opportunity.We are looking to add a Staff Accountant team member in our Wichita,Kansas office.The Staff Accountant position requires full cycle accounting experience including Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Bank Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation, and Financial Statement preparation for multiple sets of properties.

  • Background in accounting, cash, and accrual, required
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written required
  • Strong experience with Excel spreadsheets and Word required
  • Ability to multi-task; work on projects simultaneously; strong organizational skills required
  • Ability to solve problems in a positive manner; offer Best Practices required
  • Ability to work with multiple companies, vendors, owners, etc. with similar and different operational goals required
  • Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications required
  • Ability to develop and maintain recordkeeping systems and procedures required
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence required
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages, etc. required
