Position Highlights

Under the general supervision of the Wellness Center Manager, the Wellness Technician, educates clients in wellness, and prepares participants for the proper use of equipment. Performs housekeeping/cleaning duties and acts as receptionist or clerical assistant as needed.

REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • BLS certification required.
  • Annual influenza vaccinations are mandatory for all employees by December 1, unless a medical waiver is signed and approved.
  • Completion of the Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse course for Iowa Mandatory Reporters within 30 days of employment and every 3 years thereafter.
