Overview

A private TriBeCa-based family of four is seeking an experienced, Spanish-speaking weekend housekeeper/nanny to provide

attentive, nurturing care for their 2 children children as well as housekeeping support for the family. The

ideal candidate is reliable, engaging, and passionate about creating a safe and enriching. The role is Saturday and Sunday with flexibility to step in as back up on other days as needed. Some travel to Newport, RI will be required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive, loving, and high-quality care for two children throughout the weekend
  • Plan and engage the children in age-appropriate activities, including games, arts and crafts, reading, and outdoor play
  • Encourage creativity, learning, and positive behavior in a nurturing and structured environment
  • Accompany the family on outings and activities as needed, ensuring the children's safety and well-being at all times
  • Foster a warm, supportive atmosphere where the children feel safe, valued, and cared for
  • Perform housekeeping tasks, such as tidying play areas, organizing toys, and tidying of bedrooms and powder room
  • Assisting with kitchen/cleaning needs, meals, or snacks
  • Provide an enriching environment while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and discretion, being able to remain discreet and be adept at reading the room.

Qualifications

  • Ability to multi-task between housekeeping and childcare
  • The ability to drive is a plus
  • Experience as a nanny or childcare provider in a similar role
  • Reliable, responsible, and highly attentive to the safety and well-being of children at all times
  • Flexible and adaptable, able to adjust to changing schedules, activities, and family needs
  • Professional, respectful, and discreet, with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding the family's personal matters
  • The ability to make simple family meals is a plus
