Job description

Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: 3-4 Night Shifts (12-hour shifts) or 5 Day Shifts (8-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform overnight polysomnography (sleep studies) following established clinical protocols.

  • Prepare patients for sleep studies by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort throughout the testing process.

  • Set up, calibrate, and monitor diagnostic equipment, including EEG, EKG, EMG, EOG, pulse oximetry, respiratory monitoring devices, and PAP therapy equipment.

  • Observe patients during sleep studies and respond appropriately to clinical events.

  • Accurately document, score, and maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards.

  • Troubleshoot and maintain sleep laboratory equipment to ensure proper functionality.

  • Educate patients regarding sleep disorders, CPAP/BiPAP therapy, and treatment plans.

  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment while delivering outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Sleep Technologist or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).

  • Current state licensure or credentialing, as applicable.

  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience.

  • Strong computer proficiency and experience with electronic medical records (EMR).

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently.

  • Dependable, compassionate, and committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

Work Schedule

  • Full-time position.

  • Night schedule: 3-4 shifts per week (12-hour shifts).

  • Day schedule: 5 shifts per week (8-hour shifts).

  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
