Atrium Healthโ€”part of Advocate Health, one of the largest nonprofit integrated health systems in the countryโ€”is seeking a Board-Certified Sleep Medicine Physician to join the largest comprehensive sleep medicine program in the greater Charlotte region.

This is an outpatient, adult-focused opportunity within a physician-led medical group, offering strong clinical support, advanced technology, and a collaborative integrated service line.

Position & Program Highlights

  • 1.0 FTE | Mondayโ€“Friday, 8:00 AM โ€“ 5:00 PM
  • Outpatient, adult-focused Sleep Medicine
  • Sole physician with dedicated APP support
  • EPIC EMR with DAX Copilot, an AI-powered clinical documentation tool that streamlines workflows by generating draft patient notes for efficient review and signature
  • Practice in a nationally recognized, integrated organization committed to safe, equitable, and patient-centered care

Atrium Health Sleep Medicine Program

  • Largest comprehensive sleep medicine program in the Charlotte region
  • 14 sleep testing locations across the Carolinas

  • 25 board-certified sleep specialists
  • All sleep labs accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM)

Services include:

  • In-laboratory and home sleep apnea testing
  • PAP therapy
  • Oral appliance therapy
  • Upper airway surgical and bariatric referrals

Candidate Qualifications

  • MD or DO with completion of an accredited residency
  • Board certification in a primary care specialty or related field
  • Board certified in Sleep Medicine
  • Completion of an accredited Sleep Medicine fellowship
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in North Carolina
  • Active or eligible DEA license in North Carolina
