Certifications: BLS (AHA), Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) via BRPT
Must-Have: BLS certification RPSGT certification ND state license or willingness to obtain Minimum 2 years of pediatric and/or NICU sleep study experience
Description: The technologist will perform quality diagnostic polysomnographic studies. They will conduct titration, multiple sleep latency, and maintenance of wakefulness tests. The technologist will record and provide relevant and accurate data to physicians for diagnostic use in treating patients with sleep/wake disorders. The equipment utilized includes computerized charting and Natus software for sleep studies. The employee may be the only pediatric sleep tech present but will work alongside adult sleep techs to ensure support. No weekend or call shifts are required. The unit has 2 pediatric beds available. Dark gray scrubs are required for the dress code. Pediatric and/or NICU sleep study experience is essential, but training will be provided by the team. Cancellation policy allows for client cancellations up to 12 hours per 13 weeks without penalty. Charting is done through the EPIC system.
