Job description

The Archdiocese of St. Louis strives to teach and share our faith, serve others, and foster unity throughout the St. Louis area.  Once a part of Kenrick-Glennon Seminary's campus, the Cardinal Rigali Center in Shrewsbury, MO is today the headquarters and curia (governing body) for the Archdiocese of St. Louis.

Job Summary

All Souls Catholic Church is seeking a professional and organized Part-Time Wedding Coordinator to oversee and facilitate all parish wedding ceremonies. The ideal candidate will work closely with engaged couples, clergy, and parish staff to ensure that weddings are planned and executed smoothly, respectfully, and in accordance with Catholic liturgical guidelines.

Job Responsibilities

Coordinate all aspects of wedding ceremonies held at the parish.
Serve as the primary point of contact for engaged couples throughout the planning process.
Communicate parish policies, procedures, and Catholic wedding guidelines clearly to couples.
Schedule and attend wedding rehearsals and ceremonies.
Collaborate with clergy, music directors, and other parish staff to ensure liturgical accuracy.
Ensure the church and all materials are prepared and organized prior to ceremonies.
Assist in managing timelines and logistics on rehearsal and wedding days.
Provide a calm, professional, and welcoming presence for couples and families.
Maintain records of wedding bookings and required documentation.

Job Requirements

Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple events and schedules effectively.
Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented demeanor.
Ability to work evenings and weekends, as required for rehearsals and weddings.
Understanding of Catholic wedding liturgy and practices preferred.
Experience in event coordination, hospitality, or parish ministry preferred.
