Unarmed Security Officer

Location: Coraopolis, PA

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday | 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dependable and professional Unarmed Security Officer to provide overnight security coverage at a facility in Coraopolis, PA. This position requires a strong commitment to maintaining a safe, secure, and professional environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate sound judgment, strong situational awareness, and a proactive approach to safety and security while on duty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a visible and professional security presence throughout the facility
  • Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols to ensure the safety and security of the property
  • Monitor the premises for suspicious activity, safety hazards, or unauthorized access
  • Control access points and verify authorized personnel, visitors, and vendors
  • Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, alarms, or emergencies
  • Accurately document incidents, observations, and daily activities through detailed reports
  • Enforce site policies, procedures, and security protocols in a consistent and professional manner
  • Communicate effectively with management, staff, and emergency responders when necessary
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety, risk awareness, and prevention at all times

Qualifications:

  • Prior security experience preferred
  • Professional demeanor, appearance, and strong communication skills
  • Ability to remain alert, observant, and responsive during overnight shifts
  • Strong reliability, integrity, and attention to detail
