Part-Time Weekend Security Officer
Location: Merrillville, IN
Pay: $20.00 per hour (Paid Bi-Weekly)
Schedule: Thursday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday 3:00 PM-11:00 PM
We are seeking a dependable and professional Part-Time Weekend Security Officer to join our team at a large distribution facility in Merrillville, Indiana.
Responsibilities
  • Monitor and secure the facility during overnight hours
  • Conduct walking patrols of the property approximately 5-6 times per shift
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity, safety concerns, or security incidents
  • Maintain accurate activity and incident reports
  • Provide a visible security presence to help ensure a safe environment
Requirements
  • Previous security experience preferred
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to perform regular walking rounds throughout the shift
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Must successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check
  • Must successfully pass a background check
  • Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality
