Security Officer

Continental Secret Service Bureau, Inc. is a family-owned business, with 3rd generation owners and 4th generation employees. Continental has been in business since 1919, protecting our client’s businesses, property, and special events. Continental is a full-service contract security company providing security services to our clients in the city of Toledo, as well as the rest of Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, and West Virginia.

Job Description

Includes but is not limited to:

Security Officers will manage access control points and monitor camera systems. Security officers may perform patrols to ensure the safety and security of client’s property and equipment from vandalism and theft. Patrols may be conducted on foot or by vehicle. Security Officers can work out of office buildings, guard shacks, construction sites, personal vehicles, or company vehicles. Security Officers will have to complete Daily Activity Reports every shift and Incident Reports when necessary. Security Officers will need to be customer service orientated, have great verbal and written communication skills.

We currently have FT & PT positions available for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd shifts

REQUIREMENTS

Security Officers must have strong Customer Service and Written Skills, prior law enforcement, Military experience, or Security experience, or at least 1 year of solid Customer Service Experience.

In lieu of work experience, Security Officers may have equivalent experience in the Criminal Justice field or related fields of study and/or Military experience. Security Officers must have knowledge of contract security industry.

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must Pass a Criminal Background Check
  • Must pass a pre-employment Drug Test
  • Must have at least 1 solid year of CUSTOMER SERVICE experience
  • Must have strong written/oral communication skills
  • Must be able to utilize a computer/smart phone
  • Availability for Holidays & Weekends
  • Experience should be reflected on your resume
