Full Job Description:

Treston Security Services is seeking a highly responsible and experienced Security Officer to provide protection for a Professional Security Official Located in the Nashville area. The ideal candidate will be vigilant, professional, and capable of responding to various security situations.

Additional responsibilities for this Security Position includes:

  • Monitor and secure the estate grounds during assigned hours.
  • Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety and security of the property.
  • Respond promptly to any security breaches or emergencies.
  • Control access to the facility, ensuring only authorized personnel enter the premises.
  • Maintain a detailed log of all activities and incidents.
  • Collaborate with estate management to address any specific security needs.
  • Responds to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents
  • Prepares logs and reports as required

Qualifications:

Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers. Additional requirements of the Professional Security Officer include:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must have guard card, or able to obtain their Guard Card
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Have a reliable means of communication and transportation
  • Must have the legal right to work in the United States
  • Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English (Bilingual in Spanish beneficial) **
  • Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation Knowledge of or ability to learn security operations and procedures
  • Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, or oral form
  • Be an effective team member and courteous telephone manners
  • Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the external environment and organization
  • Ability to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports
  • Good organizational skills
  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Licenses (Required):

  • Valid Security Guard Card/Permit
  • Additional Permits Upon Request, but best to have on Stand-by
  • US work authorization (Required)
  • High school Diploma or Higher (Preferred)

Experience:

Customer Service: 2 year (Preferred)

Security Patrol Experience: 1 year (Preferred)

Customer service: 1-2 year (Preferred)
