Job description

Role Overview:
This role involves leading end-to-end SAP SuccessFactors ECP (Employee Central Payroll) implementations, focusing on discovery, fit-gap analysis, design, configuration, testing, cutover, go-live, and hypercare. The consultant will be responsible for configuring ECP objects, managing integrations, driving payroll localization, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end ECP implementations: discovery, fit-gap, design, configuration, testing, cutover, go-live, and hypercare.
  • Configure ECP objects and capabilities including Payroll Control Center (PCC), Pay Groups, Pay Components, Wage Types, Schemas/Rules, Time Data replication, calendars, and off-cycle processing.
  • Own EC ECP process design and data models (employee master data, position/comp, event reasons, time off impacts).
  • Design and manage integrations: EC to ECP, ECP to Finance (S/4HANA/ERP), Banking, Time, Benefits, and Third-party vendors.
  • Utilize SAP CPI, Integration Center, APIs, and file-based interfaces for integrations.
  • Drive payroll localization and regulatory compliance for relevant countries; coordinate with local payroll providers where hybrid models exist.
  • Lead data migration validation (historical results, balances, master data), parallel runs, and reconciliation.
  • Establish and operate Payroll Control Center processes, alerts, monitoring, and defect triage; define KPIs/SLAs.
  • Execute and manage testing cycles (unit, SIT, UAT, regression), cutover planning, and release management.
  • Provide L2/L3 production support, incident/problem management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain security and RBP design for payroll processes and sensitive data; ensure auditability and SoX alignment where applicable.
  • Create high-quality functional specs, solution documentation, training materials, and knowledge transfer.
  • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to standards, templates, and best practices across the EAS portfolio.
