A Brief Overview
The Registered Nurse is responsible for the provision of nursing care based on AORN standards of care and professional nursing practice: accountable for outcomes of nursing care delivered.
What you will do
  • Prepares patients for surgery and addresses their concerns.
  • Ensures the operating room is sterile, and secure necessary supplies and instruments for surgery.
  • Hands over medical supplies to attending surgeons during operations.
  • Monitors patients' physical and emotional well-being throughout the care continuum, and observes patient vital signs.
  • Informs attending surgeon of issues and anomalies.

Education Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing. (ADN) Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. (BSN) Preferred
  • Master's Degree in Nursing. (MSN) Preferred

Experience Qualifications
  • Previous experience in an acute care critical care setting Preferred

Skills and Abilities
  • Works with patients, families, physicians, and other health care providers.

Licenses and Certifications
