Where You Will Work:

  • 12 bed ICU - medical /respiratory

We're Looking For:

  • 1 year experience Med/surg - inpatient experience preferred

What You'll Do:

  • Deliver individualized care using the nursing process-assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans tailored to each patient's needs.

  • Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, mobilizing resources and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes.

  • Promote patient safety by implementing risk-reduction strategies and reporting safety events promptly.

  • Educate patients and families, adapting teaching methods to meet unique learning needs and supporting readiness for discharge.

  • Coordinate care and discharge planning through an interdisciplinary approach, ensuring continuity across the healthcare continuum.

  • Lead and delegate effectively, fostering teamwork and supporting unlicensed personnel.

  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient experience and unit performance.

  • Maintain professional growth through ongoing education, competency completion, and participation in shared governance activities.

Schedule Details/Additional Information:

  • Variable - primarily NOC shift

  • Every 3rd weekend rotation - NOC shift
