• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' psychological, emotional, and social needs, identifying barriers to recovery.
• Develop and implement individual service plans tailored to each client’s unique situation and recovery goals.
• Provide individual and family counseling remotely, employing a variety of therapeutic techniques to enhance mental health and recovery outcomes.
• Engage in crisis intervention and risk assessment, ensuring immediate support and safety planning as necessary.
• Collaborate closely with clients to connect them with vital community resources, fostering a network of support.
• Work in partnership with other healthcare providers and community organizations to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Participate in regular team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing training sessions to stay updated on best practices and enhance service delivery.

The primary focus of this role will be supporting individuals entering detox, who often struggle with substance use disorders and related mental health challenges. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will be instrumental in helping clients navigate these difficult transitions, empowering them to overcome personal challenges and access the resources they need for a successful recovery journey.

• An active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.
• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Strong understanding of the social and economic justice issues impacting our client populations.
• Excellent skills in communication, cultural competence, and creative problem-solving.

• Prior experience in a social service agency or a mental health setting, preferably one focusing on substance abuse and recovery.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and the unique challenges faced by marginalized communities.
• Experience in crisis intervention and safety planning involving vulnerable populations.
