Position – Receptionist - Front Entrance
Location: Ingleside Communities – Mt Horeb, WI (On-site)
Status: Part-time
Schedule: 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm - 3 days a week plus every other weekend

Job Summary:
The Receptionist position at Ingleside Communities must be a friendly, professional, and customer-focused person. The Receptionist is the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors and staff and plays a key role in creating a welcoming environment while providing administrative and clerical support to the facility. The ideal person for this role is organized, dependable, compassionate, and committed to providing exceptional customer service in a healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcomes all visitors, applicants, staff, etc. Remember that they get their first impression of the facility from you – be sure it is a positive first impression.
  • Maintains confidentiality!
  • Keeps an updated room location listing at all times in order to properly direct visitors to residents' rooms.
  • Directs all residents' family members, employees with specific questions or concerns to the appropriate department supervisor. NEVER give out information regarding residents or employees, either to visitors or callers.
  • Always be aware that the receptionist area is accessible to everyone and it must be maintained professionally at all times.
  • Use paging system professionally at all times in locating individuals or making necessary announcements. Remember that your voice is heard by everyone present in the facility.
  • Other duties assigned by the office manager or facility administrator.

Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be a high school graduate
  • Must have great communication skills
  • Must have typing and organization skills
  • Must be able to meet the public in a friendly, welcoming manner
  • Must have knowledge of office equipment and supplies
  • Must have sincere desire to work with residents, staff, visitors, and family members
  • Must be able to intermittently stand, walk and sit 6-8 hours in an 8-hour day
  • Must be able to occasionally bend, squat and twist body
  • Must be able to lift a maximum of 20# with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects up to 10#
