Job description

Role Overview:
The ideal candidate will have experience in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence, with a strong background in Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with business to collect requirements, conduct PoC
  • Work with offshore team to deliver reports
  • Showcase work to other groups, status reporting

Required Skills:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence
  • 8-10 years of experience with reporting visualization using Power BI, DAX queries and Azure Analysis Services (AAS) using Azure data (Synapse, SQL DB, data lake, Databricks)
  • Design, develop, and deploy data solutions using Microsoft Azure cloud platform

Qualifications:
  • B. Tech MS or equivalent

Preferred Skills:
  • Strong in Data Modeling concepts and applying them in AAS tool
  • Expertise in Power BI Dashboards and building Analysis Services reporting models
  • Proficient in writing DAX queries
  • Experience with design and development of Power BI Paginated and Interactive reports
  • Has strong experience in creating complex reports using all kind of visualizations available with Power BI
  • Assist team of developers with solving technical problems when they arise on Power BI and Azure Analysis Services (AAS)
  • Adept in developing, publishing and scheduling Power BI reports as per the business requirements
  • Experience working within an Agile development team
  • Solid understanding of security models in Power BI and the ability to implement row level restrictions
