We are seeking a skilled and motivated Powder Coating & Assembly Operator to join our growing production team in Plattsburgh, New York. This role is critical to ensuring our products meet the highest standards of finish, durability, and quality. You'll work in a newly renovated facility with state-of-the-art equipment, alongside a team that values craftsmanship, safety, and collaboration.
This is a stable, full-time, Monday to Friday position (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM), offering a consistent schedule and a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform all aspects of the powder coating process, including surface preparation, application, curing, and final inspection
  • Operate and maintain powder coating equipment, spray booths, and curing ovens
  • Monitor coating thickness, adhesion, and finish quality to ensure compliance with specifications
  • Identify and troubleshoot coating defects and equipment issues
  • Assist with basic assembly tasks and support production needs across departments
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quality targets
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
  • Follow all safety protocols and actively contribute to a safe work environment

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial powder coating or related painting processes
  • Strong knowledge of powder coating materials, equipment, and techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions
  • High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
