Job description

Martin Painting & Coating Co. is seeking an experienced Coating Application Specialist to perform coating application work on commercial and industrial projects.

This position is ideal for a painter who understands the importance of proper surface preparation, application technique, equipment handling, and attention to detail.

What You'll Do
  • Apply coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.

  • Prepare surfaces before coating application.

  • Follow project requirements for coating application.

  • Maintain consistent and professional application techniques.

  • Protect adjacent surfaces and work areas.

  • Assist with masking and jobsite preparation.

  • Maintain painting tools and equipment.

  • Perform touch-ups and corrections as needed.

  • Keep work areas clean and organized.

  • Work safely on ladders, lifts, and scaffolding when required.

  • Follow company safety procedures and jobsite standards.

  • Work with crew members and supervisors to complete projects.

What We're Looking For
  • Previous commercial or industrial painting experience preferred.

  • Experience with brush, roller, or spray coating application.

  • Knowledge of surface preparation practices.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to work in commercial and industrial environments.

  • Must be clean shaven for respirator compliance.
