Job Title: Powder Coat Painter / Production AssociateJob DescriptionThis role supports production operations by performing powder coating, painting, assembly, forklift operation, and general machine and production tasks. You will work closely with welders and other team members to ensure parts are coated, assembled, and moved efficiently and safely through the production process.
Responsibilities
- Perform powder coating and painting of parts and components according to established quality standards and specifications.
- Support welders by preparing, handling, and moving parts and materials as needed throughout the production process.
- Operate a forklift safely to load and unload trucks and to move materials, parts, and finished goods within the facility.
- Unload incoming trucks and load outgoing trucks in an accurate, efficient, and safe manner.
- Assemble drawers and other components using hand tools and basic assembly methods, ensuring proper fit and finish.
- Set up, operate, and monitor production and machine equipment as directed to maintain consistent output.
- Inspect coated and assembled parts for quality, identifying defects and reporting issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while operating equipment, handling materials, and working on the production floor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning equipment and tools as required.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and daily targets.
Essential Skills- Experience with powder coating processes and equipment in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Painting experience, preferably in an industrial or production setting.
- Ability to operate a forklift safely for loading, unloading, and material movement.
- Experience unloading and loading trucks in a warehouse or production environment.
- Assembly experience, including basic mechanical assembly and use of hand tools.
- General production experience, including working on a fast-paced manufacturing floor.
- Ability to operate basic production and machine equipment following instructions and safety guidelines.
- Capability to follow written and verbal instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure quality in coating, painting, and assembly tasks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Comfort working in a manufacturing or industrial environment with production deadlines.
- Willingness to learn additional production and machine operation tasks as needed.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality to support a consistent production schedule.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials and parts as required for production work.

Work Environment
This is a 2nd shift position, working Monday through Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. The role is based on a production floor in a manufacturing environment that uses powder coating, painting, and general production equipment. You will regularly operate forklifts and work around machinery, moving parts, and materials. The environment can be noisy and may involve exposure to paint, powder, and other industrial materials, with appropriate safety procedures and equipment in place. You should expect to be on your feet for most of the shift, performing physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and operating equipment. Work attire typically includes practical, safety-appropriate clothing and any required personal protective equipment provided or specified by the employer.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.50 - $20.00/hr.
