Job Brief
Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Powder Coat Painter for our client. This job is responsible for hand-coating and storing metal parts on an automated powder-coat line, preparing parts by cleaning, masking, and hanging them, operating coating equipment to ensure proper application, performing quality checks to verify specifications are met, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
What’s a Typical Day Like?
  • Hand-coat and store metal parts on an automated powder coat paint line.
  • Prepare parts for coating by cleaning, masking, and hanging them on the line.
  • Operate powder coating equipment and ensure proper application of coatings.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
What Are the Requirements of the Job?
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in powder coating or industrial painting preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders and safety instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to lift and move parts as required.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to move or lift up to 50+ lbs.
  • Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel.
