Job Brief
Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Paint for our client. This position is responsible for preparing, painting, and inspecting metal parts and components throughout the finishing process.
What’s a Typical Day Like?
  • Prepare metal surfaces by sanding, grinding, cleaning, and sandblasting prior to painting.
  • Mask parts and components to protect areas from overspray.
  • Operate paint booths, spray guns, and other painting equipment to apply coatings.
  • Apply primers, base coats, and finish coats according to work instructions and specifications.
  • Perform touch-up painting and correct coating imperfections as needed.
  • Inspect painted parts for proper coverage, finish quality, and defects before releasing product.
  • Load and unload parts from paint racks, conveyors, or carts throughout the painting process.
  • Mix paints and coatings according to manufacturer specifications when required.
  • Maintain paint equipment and perform routine cleaning of paint booths and work areas.
  • Read and follow work orders, production schedules, and painting specifications.
  • Follow all company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and environmental regulations.
  • Assist with other production or finishing duties as assigned.
What Are the Requirements of the Job?
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous industrial, automotive, or manufacturing painting experience preferred.
  • Experience with surface preparation including sanding, grinding, and sandblasting.
