CLIENT: TOWN OF CARY

seeking a Business Analyst for a long-term contract opportunity in Cary, NC.

*Pay: $45/hr on C2C

*Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Mandatory weekly meetings onsite 2-3 times a week)

*Interview Type: Phone/Video AND ONSITE

Responsibilities:

  • Develop cross-functional workflows, policies and procedures and comprehensive process maps.
  • Define user stories and establish acceptance criteria for functional and non-functional (technical) requirements
  • Define acceptance criteria and estimating the size of stories
  • Determine whether acceptance criteria have been satisfied
  • Adopt various Agile process including but not limited to: SCRUM, Kanban, and Lean Software Development
  • Share best practices and improve processes within and across business units
  • Gather and document business requirements for current and proposed processes
  • Develop project scope documents and other related business case analysis materials from project ideation through implementation.
  • Keep up with new technologies such as Salesforce
  • Conceptualize and develop relevant use cases for staff engagements: design, MVP, pilots, and production deployments
  • Interact with the staff and team to build solutions
  • Hybrid

Requirements:

  • Shall have a minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Business Analyst
  • Shall have a minimum of one (1) year experience in building business process models, writing acceptance criteria, and designing user stories to build requirements.
  • Proven expertise in business process and system analysis, design, improvement, and implementation efforts and translating business process needs into technical requirements
  • Ability to absorb and synthesize information from various outlets and develop a set of requirements
  • Experience with project tracking software (example: Cloud Coach)
  • Ability to manage projects or serve as a Business Analyst on a project managed by others
