Job Title: Senior Cath Lab Nurse
Day Shift: (3) 12hrs
Salary Range:

  • Minimum: $32.78 per hour
  • Maximum: $52.01 per hour
Sign-on Bonus: $10,000
Relocation Bonus: Up to $7,500 (varies based on mileage)
Rate Differentials: +$2 for night and weekend shifts (pending on-call and charge differentials)
Experience Required: 2 years
Position Notes: Candidates will work in a new facility with low patient ratios. Must have basic knowledge of preparing patients for catheterization, angioplasty, and pacemaker implantations. Responsibilities include assisting physicians in these procedures, keeping patients calm and relaxed, administering appropriate medicine, providing after-procedure care, checking vital signs, and educating patients and families before discharge.
Job Highlights:
  • Assessing and preparing patients for Cardiac Cath, Pacemaker Implant, Structural Heart, and IR procedures
  • Recovering, monitoring, and caring for post-cardiac catheterization, post-cardiac intervention, post-peripheral angiography/intervention, post-pacemaker, and post-structural heart procedure patients
  • Receiving direction from: Providers, Anesthesia providers, Nurse Manager, Cath Lab Manager/Director, and Charge Nurse
  • Giving direction to: LPN, CNA
Qualifications:
  • Current State of Montana RN License, BLS, ACLS, PALS required
  • Basic Nursing Principles and Procedures, required
  • Interpretation of ECG rhythm strips and 12-lead ECG, IV skills, required
Responsibilities:
  • As a Cath Lab RN, you will be responsible for assessing and preparing patients for Cardiac Cath, Pacemaker Implant, Structural Heart, and IR procedures
  • Recovers, monitors, and cares for post-cardiac catheterization, post-cardiac intervention, post-peripheral angiography/intervention, post-pacemaker, and post-structural heart procedure patients
  • Receives direction from: Providers, Anesthesia providers, Nurse Manager, Cath Lab Manager/Director, and Charge Nurse
  • Gives direction to: LPN, CNA
