We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Cardiology team. This role is ideal for a motivated, patient-focused nurse who enjoys variety, teamwork, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in an outpatient setting.
Position Summary
The Cardiology LPN provides a wide range of clinical support services to patients and providers. Working closely with physicians, APPs, RNs, and other clinical staff, the LPN delivers high-quality patient care under the supervision of licensed providers while helping ensure efficient, compassionate clinic operations.
What You'll Do
  • Respond to patient phone calls and clinical messages, routing to providers as appropriate
  • Communicate test results to patients and reinforce updates to their plan of care
  • Conduct nurse visits within scope of practice, including:
    • Patient assessments
    • Medication reconciliation
    • Vital signs
    • EKGs
    • Implementation of provider-directed care plans
  • Process prescription refill requests
  • Complete FMLA, disability, surgical clearance, and other medical forms
  • Coordinate outgoing clinical referrals
  • Provide patient education and support
  • Assist with additional clinical duties as needed

What We're Looking For
  • Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or valid Compact State license
  • Strong foundation in nursing theory and clinical practice
  • Cardiology experience preferred, but not required
  • BLS for Healthcare Providers required (or obtained within 60 days of hire)
  • Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
