Job description

Overview
During nights and weekends, assist various departments with scheduling and coordinating flow work for Leo Marine vessels as directed by personnel.
Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming calls to main line and transfer as needed.
  • Coordinate operational needs with Manager, day to day.
  • Regularly patrol the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
  • Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, accidents, presence of unauthorized persons, suspicious activities, or unusual occurrences. Submit these daily reports to direct supervisor.
  • Adherence and understanding of Centerline Logistics' operating policies and procedures.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of all sensitive communications.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Extensive knowledge of tugboat and oil transportation industry preferred.
  • Professional appearance and telephone manner.
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks with minimal or no guidance.
  • Strong communication skills both orally and written.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Must have proven ability to work with all levels of the organization, and possess strong interpersonal and customer service skills with a professional demeanor.
  • Proven ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information and communications.
  • Valid State driver's license.
  • Must be able to read, speak, write, type, and understand English in person and over telephone.

Job Condition and Environment
