Summary Plans, assigns, and supervises the work of employees engaged in set-up, operations, and cleaning of Civic Center and Auditorium/Coliseum. Essential Functions Plan, assign, and supervise the work of employees engaged in set-up, operation, and cleaning of Civic Center and Auditorium/Coliseum; Interview, select, train, evaluate, and discipline employees; Prepare work schedules and assign work to employees; Inspect work in progress and upon completion; Maintain inventory of equipment including tables, chairs, and portable staging; Supervise proper storage and maintenance of equipment; Identify equipment to be cleaned or repaired; Consult with others regarding event set-up needs; Perform related duties as directed. Qualifications Completion of a high school diploma or the equivalent with an additional one to three years experience in custodial work or building operations; or any combination of relevant education and experience which provides the following: Valid Current Driver's License Physical Exam Required Knowledge and Abilities Knowledge of: Operations and equipment to set-up and arrange facilities for banquets, meetings, conventions, etc.; Techniques used in custodial work

Ability to: Supervise the work of others; Follow written and oral instructions; Communicate effectively with others. Physical Requirements: Continuously stand and walk. Occasionally bend and kneel.
