RN – Skilled Nursing / Long-Term Care (Night Shift)
Location: Harvard, IL
Job Type: Contract
Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Weekend & Holiday Rotation


Overview

Seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Skilled Nursing / Long-Term Care team. This is a night-shift role with opportunities to pick up additional hours. Ideal candidates are compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to providing high-quality patient care.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care following established protocols, including treatments and procedures.

  • Observe patients and report any adverse reactions to medications or treatments.

  • Administer medications according to licensure, policy, and State Practice Act.

  • Respond promptly to patient requests and report significant observations to the RN.

  • Participate in care planning and assist in implementing patient care plans.

  • Demonstrate knowledge of hospital policies, emergency procedures, and patient care standards.

  • Educate patients on self-care as directed by the RN and document care provided.


Qualifications
  • Active Illinois RN License required.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care settings.

  • BLS/BCLS certification required.

  • Experience with EPIC EMR preferred.
